Saunayoga exercises are done while sitting in a sauna, where the temperature is approximately 50 degrees. Saunayoga is suitable for anyone who is able to spend time in a moderately warm sauna. The pleasant heat of the sauna and the gentle yoga movements effectively reduce tension in the body and relax the mind. Saunayoga boosts metabolism, reduces stress and helps you sleep better.  

Our saunayoga is directed by a trained yoga instructor Riina Wiik from a local yoga studio Studio Laive.

Saunayoga lasts for about 40 minutes. After that you have the opportunity to bath in our saunas as long as you like or spend time in our cozy café. To finish up the impact of saunayoga we recommend you try out our ice cold swimming pool, which helps muscles to recover after the exercise.

Equipment: Take a drinking bottle and a sweat towel with you. You can wear, for example, shorts and a sleeveless top or a bathing suit. If you would like to sauna afterwards, take your towel and a seat cover with you. 

Drink a couple of glasses of water before saunayoga.

We take up to 7 people and at least 4 people in the saunayoga. Please note that this saunayoga is for women only. For men we have their own saunayoga, which you can find from the top of this page!

Remember to wash and sanitize your hands when you visit Kankaan sauna!
